Once again laddus in microwave but this time with Matta rice flakes. The matta rice is typically used in kerala cuisine and is typical whole grain, very very healthy especially fo the kids. This is very easy to make within 5 minutes in a microwave. It tasted great and I found an easy way to make jr eat wholegrains without any fuss.
Sending this to Divya's show-me-your-wholegrains, Priya's CWS- Cardamom seeds and finally to Srilekha's efm-sweets-and-savories-for-diwali

You need:
Matta rice flakes                  2cups
Powdered sugar                   1cup
Ghee                                   1/2cup + 1tbsp
Cardamom seeds                 1/2tsp
Salt a very small pinch

Microwave high the rice flakes for 2 minutes, stirring every minute.
Add the cardamom seeds and microwave high for 2 minutes stirring every minute.
Microwave the ghee for 30 seconds.
In a bowl add the powdered rice flakes, sugar, cashews, salt.
Pour in the ghee and mix well.
Shape them into balls while they hot.
Cool and Store
