Cauliflower leaves Pakoda/ FrittersSome events really make us think imaginative. I've never imagined that I would be making pakodas out of cauliflower leaves which we usually throw away. This pakoda was perfect for a tea time snack n was delicious. Sending these pakodas to Nithu's Best out of Waste event
Cauliflower leaves 1/4cup( chopped)
Onion (sliced) 1nos
Besan Flour 2 1/2tbsp
Rice Flour 2 1/2tbsp
Bi carb of Soda 1/4tsp
Garlic (sliced) 2pods
Chilli powder 1-2tsp
Curry leaves (chopped) few
Ghee (melted) 1tbsp
Oil to fry
Mix all the ingrdients in a bowl except the oil. Add enough water to make a batter of dropping consistency. It should neither be thick nor thin.
Heat oil in a kadai n drop spoonfuls of them. Fry till they are golden colour on both the sides.
Remove n Drain them on kitchen towel.
Serve hot with Ketchup or chutney
