Chick peas or garbanzo beans is loaded with nutrients and when it combines with whole wheat flour then it is a complete nutrient packed dish. The cumin and coriander seeds add extra flavour to the recipe.You can use the readily available boiled chickpeas in cans for this recipe. You need:
Whole wheat flour 1cup
All Purpose flour 1/2 cup
Chick peas 1/2 can or 100gms
Roasted coriander seeeds 1 tbsp
Roasted jeera seeds 1tbsp
Ghee 1tbsp
Salt
Extra ghee for applying
Preparation:
Mash the chick peas. Coarsely grind the coriander seeds.
Make a soft dough with whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, chick peas, roasted coriander seeds, jeera seeds,ghee, salt and enough water .
Allow the dough to rest for an hour. Divide the dough into equal parts.
Roll it out into thin chappatis and cook them.
Apply ghee over the hot chappati and serve.
