Rajma or kidney beans is very rich soluble fiber and helps in reducing cholestrol. Making kheer in Rajma is something unusual. Its very tasty n healthy too. When you want to make something different try out this kheer and you will definitely love it. You need:
Rajma 1cup
Milk 3cups
Sugar 3/4- 1 cup
Condensed milk 2tbsp
Salt a very small pinch
Cardamom seeds/ powder 1tsp
MTR's Badam feast 1tbsp
Cashew 1tbsp
Raisins 1tbsp
Ghee 1tbsp
Preparation:
Soak the rajma overnight and cook till soft, then blend them to a paste.
If you are using cardamom seeds just powder them with a little sugar
Boil the milk and add in the rajma paste and mix well.
Add in sugar, cardamom seeds, Badam feast,condensed milk and salt and cook till the kheer thickens.
Fry the cashews n raisins in ghee and add to the kheer.
Serve cold
Note:
if badam feast is not available just grind 3-4 almonds with little saffron to a powder
