Marie Delight

I would call it three in one post. Yes! one recipe which suits all the three events hosted by my fellow bloggers.
First the intro for Marie delight. Its an easy breezy snacks to prepare in seconds just needs two ingredients n no cooking.

Now lets go for the events:
Im dedicating this dish to my mother and sending this to Mother's Day Event hosted by Jyothi.  My mother used to make this and pack it for snacks to school. The crispy marie would have become a little soft and no to tell about the taste. Heavenly. This is not only our( me n my sister) favorite its also my mother's n now my son loves them a lot.

Next a short story based on the incident that happened in my school.

Once upon a time there were two little girls who are inseperable right from their childhood. lets name them "A" and "B". They used to go to school together and share their food always. Such a thick friends. A used to bring a special snack( Marie Delight)  her mother used to prepare to school which B always likes them so much. B used to finish it up every time A brings them to school. B likes them so much that She tells A that marie delight would be the best birthday gift she would want. Sooo innocent she is. But A never took it seriously, she thought that B was joking. The day arrived B invited all her friends to her birthday party. She was flooded with gifts. She wanted to open the gift given by A as she is her best friend. She  opened the gift with all enthusiasm but only found a cute barbie doll. She started crying and told A that she really expected her to bring marie delight which is her favorite.A just didnt know what to do and pacified her that she would bring her, her favorite the next day. A brought her a box full of marie delight and gifted B. B accepted the gift and showed a very big grin. Days went by they finished school, got married and settled down in different states. Years rolled and they were happy with grand children. B got a big surprise of her life, A visited her on her birthday and presented her a big box. She opened it with enthusiasm and found her favorite snack "Marie delight". She again posed a big grin but the only difference was there was no tooth.
The story ends here delightfully
Sending this to Of Chalks and Chopsticks an interesting event hosted by aquadaze

Now third our kids could make it themselves. Yes! My three old son helped me in making it. When I thought of making this snack I thought why not ask my son to do as he always pesters me in that he would help me in  kitchen( kids enthusiasm you know) He was very happy when I called him to make this snack. It was so nice to see those tiny hands spread the condensed milk on the marie biscuits.I was just admiring on how he was doing that I forgot to take photos( sorry). He did a neat work and also enjoyed having it also.
Sending this to Srivalli's Kid's Delight- Cooking with Kids event.

Now lets go in making this snack. Though the story is long( I never imagined I could write a long post) the recipe is very very short.

All you need is Marie Biscuits and Condensed milk. Just spread condensed milk on marie biscuit and sandwhich them. You can make a sandwhich with either 2 or 4 biscuits. The biscuits tastes more better if you allow them to get little soggy ( due to condensed milk).
Enjoy them and surely this will be your comfort food also.
